[Ralph huffs when Virgil insists that they need to go to the atrium. He's about to argue, when he mentions that the water's been different. Obviously something was causing problems, and it was likely a Cy-Bug or a hive of them causing it.

He's here for rescue and extraction, he's not supposed to seek out Cy-Bugs to pick a fight.

But, there's also a chance that maybe someone else rerouted the water, perhaps there's survivors that've holed up and used whatever resources they could from the atrium.
