Under the Sea!
The Underwater Meme
Welcome to the ocean! It's a big, wet world out there, so here's your guide to what's all in store for you!
Fauna
There's many different species in the ocean, some you've heard of, some you haven't, here's just a few of the many creatures you can discover:
1. Mer-chimera - These people are half one species and half sea creature. The most common ones are mermaids and mermen, who are half-human and half-fish, however, some of these people have halves such as dolphins, crocodiles, and even squid. There's even rumors of some being half-sea monster or even half-dinosaur! There's no limit to what their ocean-faring half is, be it something real, extinct, or imaginary. (Characters in the meme can be half their appearance and half any other creature they choose, even things like water Pokemon are options, it's all up to you. Also, they can have always been this way or have found themselves suddenly transformed.)
2. Ocean Creatures - There's plenty of fish in the sea! And dolphins. And whales. And sharks. Every sea creature ever recorded (and a few that haven't been!) are found in this ocean.
(Your character can be any type of ocean-going creature, including things from mythology or other canons. They can have always been this way or have been changed into a sea creature.)
3. Land Creatures - Humans and other land-based critters live, work, and play around the ocean, be it on beaches, floating towns, or just taking a swim or scuba diving or even fishing.
(If you don't want to make any changes to your non-ocean character (or want to make an ocean character a land one), you can use this option to experience the sea.)
4. Other - There's always something new being discovered in the ocean, maybe we haven't found it yet, keep us updated on anything new you find out there!
Locales
There's plenty of places out there, here's some favorite spots!
1. The Seat of the Empire - This is the biggest city in the entire ocean! The emperor of the sea built his castle here and a nice city has sprung up around it. They're always welcoming to tourists, though if you cause trouble, you might just find yourself spending a night or two in the Locker, a high-security prison.
2. Towns - If the big city's not your thing, then there's plenty of small towns scattered about the ocean for you to experience.
3. Open Ocean - If you just want to get away from it all, then you'll want to check out the miles and miles of ocean between the towns and cities, there's all sorts of lovely things like the seaweed fields, the trenches, and open waters for you to discover!
4. The Ice Caps - Things are pretty chill in these freezing waters found at opposite ends of the ocean. There's plenty of ice and glaciers, along with some snow-covered land. Only the creatures with the warmest blubber or clothes can really enjoy their time here.
5. The Deep - The Deep is one of the most dangerous parts of the entire ocean, there's several spots around the sea where it's dark and mysterious. Strange and sometimes dangerous creatures live down here and there's sea volcanoes that increase the temperature to sometimes deadly levels. Not only that, but the pressure is greater down here, making it more difficult on ocean-goers. But, there are rewards to exploring this section of the ocean, there's luminescent creatures that are exotically beautiful and some of the old caves around the sea volcanoes have valuable crystals of different shapes and colors.
6. Other - If you've discovered a new place in the ocean, please feel free to write us and tell us all about it and we'll update our guide to let others know about other great spots around the sea!
((I hope everybody has fun with this and if you'd like, you can take or modify this meme, I don't mind!))

Wreck-It Ralph | Wreck-It Ralph
Ralph here is a merman with an orca tail. His life is similar to the original Ralph's, because of his size, temper, and being part killer whale, he's something of an outcast.
Other scenarios besides the ones listed are more than welcome, I just really wanted to write those out!
Scenario 1 - Hunting for Clams
[Ralph's swimming in a rocky area along one of the underwater mountain ridges, looking for large clams. When he finds one, he uses his fists to smash or pry it open and he snacks on the fresh meat inside. If he's lucky enough to happen to find a pearl, he'll spit it out and place it in his bag.
Since he's too clumsy to be able to craft anything, his trading is limited to valuable objects that he's found. However, since everybody knows that he only trades when he really wants something or is desperate, they always take advantage of him and give him a rough time and a bad deal. Mostly, people want things they can use, so valuable items are more of a luxury and not a lot of people trade for them, so this makes things even more difficult on Ralph.]
Scenario 2 - Searching the Deep
[One of the few things Ralph has an advantage in is going to the Deep. Most of the smaller vicious creatures down there don't bother him because of his size, though the sea monsters that occasionally lurk try to make a snack out of him from time to time.
The pressure doesn't affect him quite as bad, but that could just be because of his stubbornness. He also ignores the heat from the sea volcanoes, but sometimes the water even gets too warm for his liking.
Things are quiet down here today and he's making his way to some of the underground caves. He's going to nab a few crystals for the next time he wants to trade. Ralph doesn't need anything right now, but he knows that it's better to be prepared, especially since he has a difficult time with trading as it is.]
Scenario 3 - All Tangled Up
[Ralph's really gotten himself into a mess now. He had been swimming too close to the surface and not paying attention and now he's been caught in a fishing net.
He panicked and struggled to get free, but he got even more tangled the more he thrashed about. In the process, all the other fish managed to escape, so he's stuck alone and uncomfortable. He's probably hanging upside down or at an awkward angle, with maybe even one arm pinned against his side and the other stuck in some netting.
Even worse, he dropped his bag and it sunk to who knows where. He doesn't carry a knife (which would be useful about now) but it's got some pearls, a few coins from a shipwreck, a couple of pretty pieces of colorful sea glass, and several crystals of differing colors and rarities.
Ralph hangs there silently in the netting, utterly exhausted, frustrated, and without hope. He knows that even if he calls out for help, no one will come to his aid. He's completely at the mercy of whatever humans that own this net and whenever they come to check it. Sometimes the nets are left out there for weeks, he could easily starve before they come back, but that still could be better than what they'd do to a curiosity like him. He could be captured and locked up, experimented on and tormented. Right now, things look pretty bleak.
Every now and then, he'll regain some strength and use it to try and free himself to no avail.]
Turbo | Wreck-It Ralph
Open to all and any scenario!]

He's pretty hungry by now and he's finally found a good-sized fish that he seems to be wearing down. Hopefully in a few minutes, he'll finally have a nice lunch.
However, he doesn't notice that he's swam right on past Turbo, his wake may even cause the other merman to bob around.]
no subject
Suddenly, he takes off incredibly fast after Ralph's prey, and snatches the fish up what seems like effortlessly with his speed. Once he's caught it, he doesn't hesitate to immediately bite in and start eating it despite the fact it's still wiggling around alive, gnashing into it with his sharp canine teeth, its blood now floating in the water.]
no subject
When he sees Turbo grab his fish, Ralph growls and picks up his speed to catch up with the racer.
He stops a couple feet away from him, he'd really like to slam into Turbo, but Ralph's always getting into trouble for fighting, and he wants to try and avoid that, at least for a while. Even if Turbo starts it, the Emperor would probably side with him, instead of Ralph.]
Hey! I was chasing that fish first! It's mine!
[Turbo's barbaric attack on the fish while it's still alive doesn't help Ralph's mood, he at least kills things before he starts eating them.]

Still, she doesn't seem to care and drops the shell onto a quite impressive looking pile of shiny objects. Not just shells, but what might even be bits of treasure she found from a sunken ship somewhere. Either way, what she's found is priceless to her, and she swims past again to search for more, humming to herself.]

King Candy | Wreck-It Ralph
His majesty is a merperson with a red king salmon tail. Yes. Salmon.]
no subject
He was currently being held between several of the Emperor's elite guards, the mermen with the tails of swordfish who carried sharp lances like their namesake's nose.
Ralph didn't struggle in their custody, though he was glowering and glaring at them.
This time, he had gotten into a fight with one of the city residents. They had decided to take his cave as their own while he was gone. Ralph had come back home to find them moving in and he had well...wrecked the place.
It had taken several guards to subdue him and drag him back to the Emperor to receive his punishment.
He had several injuries from the guards and he had given them a few bruises as well, possibly having broken the ribs of at least one of them, among inflicting other wounds.
One of the other guards not holding onto Ralph tosses his bag to the Emperor, there's several valuable and shiny objects inside of it.
When that happens, Ralph cries out and lunges forward slightly before being restrained by the guards even further.]
Hey! That's mine!

He lost his bag earlier, and now he's trying to find it.
There's quite a few valuable trinkets it in, shiny coins from a shipwreck, some sea glass, a handful of pearls, and a few crystals from the volcanic caves in the Deep. He found everything himself, and some of them he went through a bit of trouble to get.]

Though of course she's not just going to let him get away with that.
Grimacing she swims over, waving her arms to get his attention.]
Hey hey! What's the big idea? Watch where you're goin'!

Leatherhead | TMNT 2012
no subject
He had been hungry and found a fishing ship that was slowly pulling in their catch and he had helped himself to a few of their fish. However, the fishermen had seen him and believing him to be a full orca bent on causing them problems, they had shot Ralph with a harpoon.
In his pain and fear, Ralph had dropped the fish and attempted to swim away, but the rope at the end of the stick had kept him from going too far. Thinking quickly, he used his gigantic hands to snap the shaft off and kept swimming down and away from the boat.
Now he was swimming through open waters, hoping that his blood wouldn't attract any sharks or other predators.
Ralph finally came to rest on a rock to try and investigate the sharp object that was hurting him so badly.
As he settled down, he noticed Leatherhead swimming by and froze up. The large alligator reminded him all too much of the sea monsters and sea serpents from the Deep that tried to snack on him when he wasn't careful. With his injury, there was no way he'd be able to escape if the big guy decided to attack.
In Ralph's mind, there was no way Leatherhead would help him out, everybody else didn't care about him, so even if the gator was friendly instead of hostile, he expected him to keep swimming right on by.
Though, he's made quite a lot of ruckus with his awkward wake, blood trail, and the occasional grunt of pain, it'd be hard for Leatherhead to not notice him, even if the large merman was attempting to be as inconspicuous as possible.]
((Let me know if this isn't okay or if you'd rather me write something else up! This popped in my head earlier, so I'm totally willing to do something else.))
no subject
But this one might be different. There was a lot of blood, sending a pang of a memory into his head. Maybe he should have just swam ahead, but there was something about seeing the creature hurt that made him stop.
He's not exactly doing anything right now, just watching from a set distance. He's not exactly sure whether to be wary of the merorca or not.]
no subject
He sees Leatherhead watching him, but when he doesn't do anything after a few moments, Ralph settles down slightly. He's still nervous, but he's got to get this harpoon out of his tail.
Ralph starts tugging at the harpoon, sending more blood swirling through the water as he grunts and growls in pain. Every now and then, he'll glance over at Leatherhead to see if the gator has made any moves. He's in a very vulnerable state right now, so he's even more cautious than usual.]
